Dr. Jayantha Bandara

I was graduated from the Faculty of Medicine,University of Peradeniya,Sri Lanka in 2008 as MBBS doctor.I completed my internship appointment at National Hospital,Kandy in SriLanka.Then I worked as a medical officer for 3 years and took my postgraduate examination in surgery.I was enrolled for ENT training in 2015.Then I completed my registration training for 3 years in different main hospitals in Sri Lanka.I passed my MD examination in 2018 and completed 2 years local training as a Senior registrar in Sri Lanka.After that I completed my overseas training in Queen Elizabeth Hospital,King'sLynn,UK.I am a board certificate Consultant ENT Surgeon since 2021 November.I have worked in different hospitals as a Consultant ENT surgeon,including national hospital Kandy and DGH Nawalapitiya.Currently,I am working at the DGH Trincomalee as a Consultant ENT surgeon.I am a general ENT surgeon and my interested areas are Head and Neck,Thyroid diseases,Otology and Rhinological cases like chronic rhinosinositis.
