Dr. Tharanga Gamage

Dr. Tharanga Gamage is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon with advanced subspecialty training in Paediatric Urology, having completed a dedicated fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London.

She specialises in the assessment and management of urinary incontinence in children, including bladder and bowel dysfunction, night-time urinary incontinence (bedwetting), and neuropathic bladder and bowel conditions. Her clinical practice covers the full spectrum of paediatric urology, ranging from hypospadias repair, testicular surgery, and management of posterior urethral valves, to complex procedures such as bladder augmentation. She also has extensive experience in managing pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction, vesico-ureteric reflux, and providing antenatal counselling for prenatally detected urinary tract conditions.
